Host a Coach!
The housing program has been a rewarding experience for both the host families and coaches; in fact, many families request to host coaches again year after year.
Questions and Incentives for Hosting a Coach
Free Tuition: Hosting a coach is a rewarding experience all on its own, but there is another great reason to host a coach. For every coach you welcome into your home, you will receive a free week tuition for a child. For example, if you have two children and host two coaches, both of your children will attend and exciting week at Star Soccer Academy for free!
Will the coach be willing to teach my child soccer skills?
Yes! We encourage you to set up a time with your coach to provide some personalized soccer training outside of camp time. Please be mindful that your child and your coach have already spent all day playing soccer.
Will the coach need to use my phone?
Star Soccer Academy coaches are not permitted to use the host family's phone without their permission. Even with permission, call should be toll-free or local, unless there are special circumstances and most coaches have a calling card.
Do coaches have their own transportation?
Many coaches bring their own vehicle to camp but some may not. If you prefer a coach with their own vehicle, please indicate that when you sign up to host a coach.
What should I do if I have and concerns during the week?
If you have any concerns while hosting a coach, please speak with the camp director or call Star Soccer Academy at (717) 560-9030.
What are my responsibilities?
There are only a few things we ask of our host families: Provide breakfast. Pack a bag lunch. Welcome your coach as a member of the family. |
